This is the beach at MacKerricher State Park, about three miles north of Fort Bragg. The weather was perfect. We hiked, Jill and I each ran--separately, we flew a kite, we looked in the tide pools, we climbed rocks, we ate lunch, and I even swam, although for just a few chilly minutes.
